Barley
Ingredients for 10 portions:
- 500 g barley,
- 1 tin of Ginos cheese cream (COD. 03201),
- 1 onion,
- 200 g butter,
- 200 g Parmesan cheese,
- 2 l Ginos vegetable broth (COD. 02004),
- 1 carrot,
- 1 courgette,
- ½ red pepper,
- ½ yellow pepper.
- Mince the onion finely and brown it with 100 g of butter.
- Wash the barley and mix it with the browned onion, toast it and soak it with white wine.
- Add some broth and cook it.
- Cut the vegetable into cubes and put them aside.
- Once the coming is almost finished, add the cheese cream and the small cubes of vegetable.
- Blend it with the remaining butter and Parmesan cheese.
- Decorate it with fresh parsley and other vegetable cubes and serve it.
N.B. If u want to enrich the recipe you can add a egg yolk to the fonduta and mix it with a blender.
